Ana: My name is Ana Parella, and I'm a hygienist for Dr. Malki. I've been
working for him going on almost 6 or 7 years now. I just love
working here because we're pretty much like a family, and it's
very warm. Everybody's taken care of start to finish in a timely
fashion comfortable for the patient. It's just a great
environment to work in. It's very friendly, I like it here.
We hopefully can diagnosis if there is an existing condition
with infection in the gums, if there's any cavities to be seen.
Optimally, we want health, optimal health in the mouth, because
obviously, it means optimal health throughout the body. We
emphasize, it's not just brushing your teeth, it's also
flossing. In addition to flossing, a lot of hygienists also
implement a water pick. What is a water pick? It's like a water
jet.
Our 3 hygienist that are here in the office, we are able to take
care of from young to 2, all the way up to geriatric patients.
It's nice and comfortable here for patients.
