Dental Implants Cost
Why Pay for Dental Implants?
Dental implants cost more than traditional tooth replacement solutions. That's because they are the most stable and durable way to replace one or more teeth in modern dentistry. They are a worthy investment to replace missing natural teeth, restore your smile, and keep you in good oral health. Keep in mind that less expensive solutions like traditional bridges and dentures do not stop jawbone atrophy caused by missing teeth.

I Want an Accurate Quote DO I NEED TO SCHEDULE A CONSULTATION?
Basically, there is no average cost for treatment because many factors affect the final price. The treatment process will involve two surgeries to 1) anchor titanium implants into your jawbone and 2) attach abutments to the implants, as well as the fabrication and placement of permanent restorations. [Note: Abutments are devices that attach the replacement tooth to the implant.]
The number of dental implants that are placed will be a price factor. In addition, the type of restoration that will eventually be attached to the abutments, whether crowns, bridges, or dentures, will add additional costs as well. Although dental insurance will usually contribute to the cost of crowns, bridges, and dentures, it's important to remember that it won't cover dental implants. We will work directly with your dental insurance provider to secure as much coverage as possible, and help you explore financing for any out-of-pocket expenses.
To get the answer we need to these questions, patients will need to come in for a consultation so we can provide a price quote that is accurate. Other Cost Factors
After meeting with you for a consultation and examination, Dr. Malki can discuss how the following factors affect your dental implant costs and treatment timeline:
- Preliminary Procedures
A bone graft can restore lost bone tissue, which is needed to stabilize your dental implants; a sinus lift can raise the membrane and add bone tissue to improve your candidacy for treatment.
- Periodontal Care
Any necessary non-surgical treatments can be performed to address issues such as gum disease prior to dental implant surgery.
- Teeth Removal
Extraction of severely decayed or damaged teeth may be required prior to treatment.
- Number of Implants and Restorations
Dental implant costs increase depending on the number of natural teeth you need to replace. If you need to replace a single tooth, you can expect to pay far less than if you need several implants. However, don't worry if you need to replace all of your teeth; we have options that can replace all of your teeth using a minimum amount of materials. For example, All-on-4® treatment only uses four implants to support an entire denture on the upper or lower arch.
- Sedation
Your comfort is of the utmost concern to us so we offer local numbing anesthetic, as well as relaxing sedation dentistry, which is administered by a licensed anesthesiologist. Receiving sedation during your implant procedure will add additional costs to your treatment.
