All-on-4 Dental Implants
Dentures That Look & Feel Natural
Why does Dr. Malki recommend All-on-4 for our patients in River Edge, Paramus, and Bergen County, NJ?
All-on-4 Offers Distinct Advantages
Fewer Implants
Four to five implants are placed, some at an angle, to maximize the existing jawbone tissue, often eliminating the need for bone grafting.
Immediate Results
A high-quality temporary prosthesis can be placed the same day as your procedure so you never have to go without a complete smile.
Can Treat More Patients
If you have jawbone recession, you might have been told you do not qualify for traditional dental implants. In these cases, All-on-4 dental implants may be a good alternative for you.
Lower Cost
Since fewer implants and preparatory procedures are needed, the All-on-4 method is typically a lower cost implant treatment than full arch replacement with traditional dental implants.

How Do All-on-4 Implants Work?
All-on-4 vs. Traditional Dental Implants
All-on-4
With this technique, we can anchor your denture with only four strategically placed implants. All-on-4 is specifically designed to maximize contact with your available bone tissue to achieve stability. The two back implants are placed at an angle, rather than vertically. This means that some patients with jawbone atrophy can qualify for this treatment without undergoing preparatory dentistry procedures like bone grafting or a sinus lift.
Traditional Dental Implants
Traditional dental implants can require the placement of six to eight implants per arch, but it is important to note that the number of dental implants depends on the unique case. These dental implants are placed straight into the bone rather than at an angle. Because of the vertical placement and number of implants required, this treatment option requires more bone density. As a result, many patients require bone grafting, a sinus lift, or both.
Restore Your Smile With All-on-4 Implants From Our Bergen County Dentist
If you are missing a tooth or several teeth in a row, prosthetics like implant-supported crowns and dental bridges are great options to fill out your smile.
Replacing a whole arch of teeth or a smile with many missing teeth requires a larger upgrade. All-on-4 dentures are fully-functional replacement teeth that can help you chew and talk just as you did with your natural teeth.

The Treatment Process
The All-on-4 implant procedure can make this dentistry solution more accessible to those who have lost bone tissue.
Recovering after Surgery
We don't recommend heading straight to the steakhouse right after surgery. Instead, plan to go home and rest for a few days, eating only soft foods.
Although you will leave our office with a fully restored smile and stable dentures, you must remember that your implants and jaw are still becoming integrated, the recovery time for which will take about three to six months.
This doesn't necessarily mean an occasional steak is off limits while you heal, but it does mean you must take time to cut it into very small pieces in order to avoid straining the implants and bone tissue.
Paying for Treatment
Dental insurance does not typically cover the costs for All-on-4 dental implants, though it may cover the cost of your restoration. Our staff will work with your insurance provider to maximize your coverage.
For expenses that are out of pocket, our Bergen County, NJ, dental office offers financing with CareCredit®. This option allows patients to pay for treatment in installments, rather than all upfront. If you're interested in All-on-4 but are unsure about your payment options, our team will be happy to review which options are best for you and your finances.
Patients often find the benefits of All-on-4 justify the price of treatment. With the proper care, implant-supported restorations can last up to 10 years or longer, and the implants themselves can last a lifetime.

"Dr. Malki Has a Great Team"
I will start by saying I have been to plenty of dentists and offices throughout my 30 years on this earth, and nowhere compares to the cleanliness and hospitality from walking into this office. Now onto the good stuff, I have always hated my smile, and Dr. James Amir has recreated a smile for me that I cannot stop flashing, all of my self doubt went right out the window. It truly has been my honor to be able to work with such an amazing human on my biggest self image issue and now have that issue eliminated!
View on GoogleMy father was a dentist, and I have been to many dentists over the years, but I have to say my experience with Dr Malki was extraordinary. He was tremendously competent, quick at diagnosis, unbelievably fast at treatment, and the entire experience was painless. I am used to waiting endlessly at all doctor and dentist appointments, but all my visits happened within 5 minutes of the appointed time and were done in less than half the time I expected. I cannot recommend Dr. Malki too highly. The definition of a superb professional.
