My First Blog Post
For those of you who have not met me, my name is Stephen J. Malki, DMD. I have been a dentist now for over 12 years. I started out in my field as a general dentist in Oradell, N.J in 1999. Today, I practice in River Edge, N.J as a general dentist. My practice is comprehensive and focuses on all aspects of dentistry, especially dental implants. We moved our practice from Oradell, N.J. because we had out grown our space. Our new location is much larger and completely state of the art. It was designed with our patients in mind. The biggest advantage now for our patients is that it is now much easier to be scheduled for an appointment. We have added an additional hygienist and dentist to make more hours available to our patients. I have always enjoyed everything about my profession, from the daily interactions with people to learning and using all the latest technology my field has to offer. However, one thing that has made me nervous is the emergence of the Social Media Revolution in dentistry. Initially, I was having a hard time accepting the fact that it is important, but now I realize it is the future. I was hesitant at first to write my first blog, I hope you have enjoyed it so far. My plan for the future is to continue Blog, and to learn to use Facebook and Twitter to improve communications with my patients. I will continue blogging on a regular basis, about myself, my practice, the latest trends in dentistry and about overall Dental health.
